South African port disruption, industrial action, roadworks and regulatory changes—with room for the trucks and trailer technology worth getting excited about. Useful reporting first. An automotive eye throughout.
We prioritise developments that change a freight decision: delays, costs, routes, labour availability and compliance. Stories distinguish confirmed events from warnings, proposals and manufacturer claims. We link the sources, show their dates and explain the practical implications. Every story gets a distinct, relevant photograph with its provenance on the article page. We never pass off a representative image as an event photograph or claim a road test we did not perform.
Each issue stays in the main feed for six weeks from its issue-week Monday. It then moves to the archive for up to three calendar months. Expired content is removed during weekly maintenance; a seven-day cleanup buffer keeps the archive within that maximum. Publication dates are separate from issue weeks.
Our launch collection covers the six issue weeks from 3 August to 12 September 2026. All launch articles were first published on 12 September 2026; they were not published in the earlier weeks.
Every article links to its source so you can check the details. For news tips or corrections, contact the team. We update material errors with a visible correction note.
